The School Council Operated OSHC services Grant 2025 is a one-off funding of $30,000.00 to eligible schools who are:
- operating their service through their school council
- and can demonstrate sustainability challenges facing their current OSHC service.
The funding aims to provide support to schools whose services are experiencing difficulties that pose a risk to their viability.
Who is eligible for this funding grant?
Provider type: The school's OSHC must either be run by the school council as the approved provider, or be intending to transfer the service to the school council in the immediate future
School demographics: The school must either have 200 children or fewer at the campus being applied for, or the school must be in one of the Department's 9 regional areas.
Schools that do not meet either of the demographic categories may apply if they can demonstrate equivalent challenges to a small/regional school.
Previous funding: Schools that received an OSHC Establishment Grant to start a new OSHC service may not apply. Schools that received a Grant to expand an existing service to add additional sessions of care may apply.
